Alfredo was cultivated in Afton, VA until his time of harvest and subsequent relocation to Medical Research building 4 (MR-4). Alfredo oversaw lab operations from his perch in the 6th floor hallway, always greeting passers-by with his inquisitive grin and impressive ‘stache. After a long and joyful life Alfredo met his maker and transformed into a batch of vegan brownies. His nutrients now flow through our veins and his spirit sparks creativity and strength in each of us every day. Rest in peace, dear Alfredo, your memory will live on forever.
