Aman is pursuing his MD and PhD degrees through the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP). He grew up in Northern Virginia and made the short trip south to earn his B.A. in Neuroscience at the University of Virginia. Aman’s interest in research grew through his work as an early member of the Lukens Lab while in college. After graduation in 2017 Aman moved to Bethesda, MD to participate in the Post-Baccalaureate IRTA fellowship program at the National Human Genome Research Institute. There he studied the genetic underpinnings of brain structure and function in attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He is excited to be back in C-Ville and to call the Lukens Lab home while pursuing interests in neuroscience, immunology and aging. While not in the lab Aman enjoys cooking vegan meals, a cold beer, a good book, and running!
