Graduate student Josh Samuels will present his research about SHP-1 in Alzheimer’s disease at the 2024 Inhibitory Receptors in Immune Homeostasis, Disease, and Therapy Keystone Symposia meeting in Breckenridge, Colorado. Josh’s work seeks to define molecular “breaks” to fine tune microglial activation in response to amyloid beta and other neurodegenerative pathogenic signatures.

You can learn more about the conference here. Check out Josh’s published work concerning SHIP-1 in Alzheimer’s disease here and immune receptors broadly in Alzheimer’s disease here.
